A story of freshness
all about us
Throughout the four seasons, at the base of Mt Katahdin in Maine, inventory changes as the seasons do. We must collect most of the harvest for our wreaths either just before they leaf in the Spring and the second the leaves begin to drop in the Fall. Beech tends to hang onto their leaves right through the winter, so weather permitting, we climb snowbanks for the best of it! To maintain a yearly market, we must obtain all the varieties of stems we use primarily in a 3-4 week time period twice a year. Nature is difficult to predict and so does availability and the need comes to pre-order at times.

The process to provide your natural wreath takes many hours. We spend weeks selecting, gathering, bundling and storing the harvest used to make it.
